L&T has 6,000 MW power projects on hand and they are at various stages of implementation, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of L&T - Power, Ravi Uppal said.
Talking to PTI, Ravi Uppal said, "Generation of solar energy in large megawatts is very costlier affair and it requires research."
He said that L&T has been concentrating on coal-based and gas-based power projects.
